Hui Manager

As a MANAOLA Hawai’i Hui Manager, you will become an essential ambassador of the brand. You will oversee and guide sales managers and retail staff to build personalized kanaka kūʻai (customer) relationships and ensuring that every kanaka kūʻai interaction reflects the MANAOLA Lifestyle. You will recruit and develop a highly motivated hui dedicated to representing the values of MANAOLA Hawai’i and furthering the movement of the Manaola Lifestyle towards nā kānaka kūʻai and team members.

Responsibilities:
-Team Management and Development
-Ensure sales managers and retail staff demonstrate the values of the Manaola Lifestyle in every interaction with kanaka kūʻai through genuine aloha and exceptional service.
-Support the hui with consistent coaching, identifying training and development needs to implement individual action plans
-Monitor and manage staff performance to ensure store goals are achieved

-Manage and motivate the hui to drive business
-Foster a positive work environment to empower, encourage, manage and motivate
-Identify, recruit, and develop hui members through collaboration with store managers

Kanaka kūʻai and Business Development:
-Cultivate a comprehensive and strategic understanding of the business and relation to all kanaka kūʻai through leadership and development
-Support the hui in building loyal nā kānaka kūʻai through values of the Manaola Lifestyle

-Create a kanaka kūʻai centered etiquette in store to ensure the highest level of customer experience and achieve service with Aloha.
-Lead by example as a Manaola Hawaii ambassador in the local community through positive representation of the brand in local events and activities

Selling and Floor Management:
-Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership to the hui and supporting their individual sales efforts through genuine aloha and exceptional service
-Drive sales through product knowledge, passionate brand enthusiasm, operational improvements and clearly defined and implemented action plans
-Identify opportunities for improvement through an understanding of kanaka kūʻai needs

-Ensure business maximization through efficient sales floor management
-Provide consistent and qualitative feedback through on-the-spot coaching
-Build and development own mea kūʻai mai profile

Operations:
-Ensure policies, standards and Manaola Hawaii procedures are communicated and implemented within hui
-Monitor store controllable expenses, supervise losses, asset protection and risk management
-Support Store Managers in staff planning

Qualifications
-BA a plus

-Minimum 5 year retail experience
-Minimum 1 year management experience
-Japanese speaking skills a plus
-Hawaiian speaking skills a plus
